
Sean Grady brings over two decades of insurance expertise to TruView Insurance Group. Sean started his insurance career at Transportation Insurance Brokers, working on accounts nationally from both the Los Angeles and New York offices. In 2007, Sean joined Member Insurance Agency, providing property and casualty products to the retail hardware, lumber, and building material industries (specifically True Value Hardware, Do It Best Hardware, and Ace Hardware store owners and dealers). He started as a top sales producer in the Southwestern US and was promoted to Vice President of Sales. He has regularly presented to various industry groups on topics such as: Cyber Liability & Data Breach, Business Insurance 101, Employment Practices Liability, and more.
Sean has also assisted clients in other industries, including: property management, landscape contracting, manufacturing, world-wide distributors, and more. Throughout his career, Sean noticed that two things were missing from the independent retail insurance agency model – clarity and simplicity. He founded TruView Insurance determined to offer clients a true, unclouded view of their insurance that they have come to rely on him for. Sean is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), a designation that just 3% of insurance agents in the country have achieved. He obtained his Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation in 2018. That combination puts him in an elite club of risk management professionals, with less than 2,000 people in the United States possessing both of those designations.
A native of Los Angeles, Sean graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a B.A. in Business Administration. He relocated to New York to work in the commercial transportation insurance industry before making Scottsdale, Arizona his new permanent residence in 2007, where he tries to spend as much time as possible with his wife and two daughters.
